The United States has cleared a $93 million defence deal for India, approving the sale of Javelin anti-tank missiles and Excalibur precision artillery rounds. The move comes nine months after PM Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump pledged to deepen defence ties. The package includes 100 Javelin missiles, 25 launch units and 216 Excalibur rounds, aimed at strengthening the U.S.-India strategic partnership. The proposal now goes to Congress for final review.
