In an exclusive and interesting conversation with BTTV’s Aastha Chopra, Anirudh Sharma, Co-founder of Third Wave Coffee, spoke about the brand’s journey, steady rise, and what lies ahead. With 165 stores across 12 cities, the company is expecting a strong growth rate of 35–40% and is targeting a healthy 90% EBITDA.
One of their newest moves? Diving into the Boba tea trend. After a quick two-month turnaround, Anirudh showed BTTV the launch a full range of milk- and water-based Boba drinks to attract younger audiences, especially Gen Z. He also mentioned, while the brand is growing fast, its focus is now on going deeper in existing cities rather than expanding overseas. With outlets in high-footfall areas like the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, and a menu that caters to everyone from teens to traditional filter coffee lovers, Third Wave is positioning itself as India’s go-to modern coffee destination with something for every kind of sipper.
