A Chinese battery management app called BAT-BMS has sparked a cybersecurity debate after reports that it was allegedly being misused to remotely switch off some e-rickshaws. The government has directed Apple and Google to remove at least three such apps, while the Delhi government has ordered a probe into the claims.
