EaseMyTrip Co-Founder Nishant Pitti Named In Mahadev Case, ED Attaches ₹59.6 Cr Shares

The Enforcement Directorate has named EaseMyTrip co-founder Nishant Pitti as an accused in the Mahadev online betting app case. Pitti has been named in the fifth supplementary charge sheet, with the ED alleging that proceeds of crime were layered through stock market transactions. The agency has attached demat shares worth ₹59.6 crore linked to Pitti and indicated that further attachments could follow. EaseMyTrip has said it is cooperating with the investigation and denied involvement in the alleged layering of proceeds of crime. The case has been under investigation for several years, with multiple individuals and entities already charge-sheeted by the ED.
