Yogi Adityanath: 'In 2047, I Want India To Be A Developed And Self-Reliant Country'

Speaking on governance, security, and development, Yogi Adityanath said he envisions India as a developed and self-reliant nation by 2047. Highlighting the role of states in achieving this goal, he said Uttar Pradesh has undergone a major transformation over the past eight years through better law and order, improved perception, and strong governance. Yogi Adityanath noted that security has enabled rapid infrastructure growth, adding that Uttar Pradesh now accounts for nearly 55% of India’s expressways and has the country’s largest air, rail, metro, rapid rail, and waterway networks. He said transparent governance and rule of law have boosted investment and employment across the state.
