Suresh Prabhu likely to announce new premium trains
The new trains with improved passenger amenities will be targeting to compete with the budget airlines.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu is likely to announce new premium trains in the Rail Budget on Thursday in order to boost the falling earnings of Railways and lure fliers of budget airlines.
The premium trains will be in line of Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duranto trains.
Prabhu has been stressing on providing improved services and quality travel to rail passengers, including the below:
- E-catering service at all important stations
- Bar-coded tickets
- Travel insurance
