India today is great but India tomorrow will be fantastic, says Mukesh Ambani

Speaking at India Today Conclave in  Mumbai, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said that India today is great but India tomorrow will be fantastic.

Delivering a keynote address on 'Why Technology Will Change India - The 21st Century Optimist', the RIL chairman said that technology is a great leveller which provides equal access to all without prejudice, caste, creed and religion.

"Like 'Digital India' and 'Make in India', we need 'Keep in India' initiative to retain country's talented workforce," Ambani said.

Lauding the government's demonetisation move, Ambani said,"Thanks to demonetisation, India has taken a big leap forward from a cash economy to an optimum cash economy."Here are the highlights of Mukesh Ambani's speech at the India Today Conclave 2017:

• Technology has driven human civilization progress over hundreds of years.
• First industrial revolution used coal and steam, the second industrial revolution used oil and electricity and the third industrial revolution used electronics, India remained on the fringes through all these revolutions.
• I believe the fourth industrial revolution is the first human-centric industrial revolution. However, we need to create more jobs annually. The job creating potential of the organised sector is limited.
• Indian youth adapt to technology very easily as we've seen more than 100 milion customers have signed up for Jio's LTE services in just 170 days.
• Jio's 100 million users consume more data than 200 million in US and 400 million in China. India is now the number one mobile data consuming nation in the world.
• By the end of 2017 Jio will be present in all villages towns and cover 99% of India's population
• Unlike all other economies which are busy building walls, India is fortunate to have a leadership which believes in connecting with the world.
• More than a million of our youth enter the workforce every month. We must create 50 mn jobs every year
• Jio has created 90 thousand direct jobs in India.
• Thanks to demonetisation, India has taken a big leap forward from a cash economy to an optimum cash economy.
• Denial of opportunity is real impoverishment, we should commit ourselves in providing opportunity  to all Indians.
