It’s yet another victory for India’s presidency at the G20 summit. India has made an unprecedented clean energy push with the global fuel alliance with counts US and Brazil as its founding members. The alliance will accelerate one of the commitments of Delhi Declaration… that of meeting net zero emission targets. The alliance will push the use of biofuels derived from sources including plant and animal waste. Nitin Gadkari, Union Road Transport and Highways minister is one of the earliest proponents of this green fuel and has advocated its economic benefits.
