Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday assured strict action after unidentified assailants fired at actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Tiger Shroff suffered gunpowder burns on his right hand during the incident in Mumbai's Juhu area, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said on October 18 after meeting the actor at his home. The accused reportedly travelled from Juhu, where the firing took place yesterday evening, to Andheri before boarding a train to escape. Investigators are examining CCTV footage along the route to trace their movements and establish how they managed to flee after the attack.

A social media post issued in the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi group claimed responsibility for the firing, allegedly on behalf of overseas-based gangsters Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu. Police are verifying the claim as part of the investigation.
