AirAsia announces New Year Sale

Private airline AirAsia has announced a massive New Year sale on its international and domestic routes.
The booking period for the sale starts from January 4, 2016 and ends on 10 January 2016.
The travel period under the sale is from 1 May 2016 to 5 February 2017.
The lowest fare on domestic route starts from Guwahati to Imphal and vice versa (Rs 899).
The fare from Jaipur to Bengaluru starts from Rs 2,999. From Pune to Bengaluru, you will have to pay Rs 1,499.
Airlines have been introducing low fares to shore up their bottomlines during the year-end.
SpiceJet in December-end started the announced a four-day sale, offering one-way base fares as low as Rs 716 for the journey period between January 15 and April 12 next year for domestic fliers.
Jet Airways too has announced special promotional fares available only on its three booking platforms. Available on its website www.jetairways.com, mobile site and mobile app, the offer 'Best Price Promise' will give fares which will be better than those available on other online travel portals, the airline said in a statement.
