Amid rapidly spreading second wave of COVID-19, 60% of new cases have been reported from Maharashtra, leading to a lockdown. This will lead to a decline in output by Rs 40,000 crore and a 0.32% dip in India's GVA growth, as it is the largest contributor in terms of GSDP with a share of 15% in national GVA
