Inside PV Sindhu's Bengaluru home! A Mahabharata chessboard steals the spotlight

Champion's sanctuary

Ever wondered what a two-time Olympic medallist's home looks like? Badminton star PV Sindhu has opened the doors of her Bengaluru residence to filmmaker Farah Khan, offering a rare glimpse into her life away from the court. Sindhu lives with her husband, Venkata Datta Sai, and their pet dog. Instead of an extravagant sports-themed mansion, her home blends modern luxury, traditional touches and deeply personal memories. Mahabharata surprise

A chessboard that brings the Mahabharata to life! One of the most striking pieces inside PV Sindhu's home is a glass-and-marble chessboard featuring the Pandavas and Kauravas as playing pieces. The elaborate two-storey design includes carved scenes inspired by the epic. Surrounded by modern furniture, this unusual creation adds a traditional Indian touch and turns an ordinary game into a conversation starter.

Memory museum

Forget ordinary wall decorations! The entrance hallway of PV Sindhu's home doubles as a gallery of her biggest life moments. A black-and-white photo wall showcases memories from her badminton career alongside a photograph from her wedding. Paintings, indoor plants and colourful rugs complete the warm setting. It's a space that celebrates her journey from badminton champion to a new chapter of family life.

Poolside paradise

PV Sindhu's living room feels more like a peaceful luxury retreat than a typical celebrity home! Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, while pastel-green sofas, embroidered cushions and soft furnishings create a relaxed atmosphere. Beyond the dining area lies a private swimming pool and garden, complete with outdoor sofas. A modular kitchen with white marble finishes brings modern elegance to the home.
