Hundred Kilometres

The headline number is hard to miss: the electric bicycle can deliver a claimed range of up to 100 km on a single charge. Its top assisted speed is 25 kmph, making it aimed at riders who want longer urban journeys without giving up performance.

Three Choices

The range is not a one-bike experiment. Mercedes-Benz and EMotorad have introduced three versions — City Edition, Trek Edition and Rallye Edition — giving buyers different options across urban riding, adventure-focused use and sportier cycling.

India Assembly

There is a distinctly Indian angle to the launch. The Mercedes-AMG Petronas edition will have its electric bicycle assembled in India, while EMotorad is handling the local manufacturing side of the partnership. That puts a global performance brand into India’s growing e-bike market.

Racing Hardware

The bicycles bring more than just a Mercedes badge. The range features 6061 aluminium alloy frames and forks, while Pirelli tyres and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes are used for riding and stopping performance. The combination gives these e-bikes a distinctly sportier mechanical package.

Tech Overload

The bikes also push into connected technology, with features including a 5.5-inch full-colour integrated display, Bluetooth connectivity and a custom one-piece handlebar. A telemetry system tracks performance data, while emergency SMS functionality adds another layer of safety.
