AAMIR Khan is on cloud nine thanks to his latest release Dangal. The film has set the box office on fire, in both India and abroad. Dangal has crossed the Rs 300-crore mark in India in just 13 days of its release.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Aamir Khan in the lead role, Dangal has earned a total amount of Rs 304.38 crore at the box office in India. Dangal had Aamir Khan getting back to the big screen after a gap of two years. His last box-office outing, 2014's PK, made history with its box office collection; something which Dangal is on its way to outdo.

Dangal is to cross the lifetime business of Salman Khan's 2016 Eid release, Sultan, today. Within two weeks of its release, Dangal is set to become the highest grosser of 2016.

The film, which has Aamir Khan stepping into the shoes of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and tells the story of his journey to make his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari ready to wrestle on the international stage, has received rave reviews from all quarters. Be it critics who didn't know how to write off Dangal, to viewers who have hailed the film to the heavens, Dangal has been called one of the best films of Aamir's career.
