In an exclusive conversation at BT Davos 2026, Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu reflected on India’s transformative journey from 1996 to 2026. He recalled how India was barely recognized in Davos three decades ago, but today the world acknowledges the country as a major global power. Naidu praised the leadership and reforms that have strengthened India’s presence, emphasizing the shift from being overlooked to being celebrated as “India’s time.” He also highlighted the importance of learning, networking, and implementing global best practices, which have driven economic progress and attracted investment, especially in technology and infrastructure.
