Speaking at the 29th Global CEO Survey, Sanjeev Krishan, Chairperson of PwC in India, said Indian businesses have shown strong resilience despite a muted global growth outlook. According to the survey, 77% of Indian CEOs remain confident about India’s growth, marking a clear departure from sentiment seen in previous years. India continues to rank favourably as an investment destination, though the United States remains the top choice globally, with the UK and Germany key contenders. Krishnan noted rising caution around artificial intelligence, with 66% of Indian CEOs anxious about adoption, even as some global CEOs report revenue and profit gains. He added that sustainability remains a priority, not an afterthought.
