Adani Total Gas has announced a net profit of ₹178 crore in July-September, up 5.9% from ₹168 crore a year ago. Revenue from operations was up 12% to ₹1,315 crore on account of higher volume and sales realization. The company, which is a city gas joint venture between the Adani Group and French energy giant Total Energies, said its profit was higher on gains from gas price cuts as well as rise in CNG and PNG volumes. While CNG volume rose 19% on year to 162 million standard cubic meters on account of network expansion, PNG sales were up 7% at 80 million standard cubic meters.
