Maruti Suzuki India Ltd reported net sales of ₹33,875.3 crore for Q1 FY25, marking a 9.82% increase from ₹30,845.2 crore in the same period last year. The company saw a 29% rise in SUV sales, with their share growing from 25% to 31% of overall sales. Net profit surged 47% year-on-year to ₹3,650 crore, exceeding market expectations due to cost-cutting and favourable commodity prices, compared to ₹2,485.1 crore in the previous year.
