P Chidambaram Raises Five Concerns For Modi Government

Former Finance minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram addressed a press conference in Mumbai, where he spoke on the completion of nine years of the Narendra Modi government, and highlighted “constitutional governance, security, economy, social divisions, and inflation, unemployment, poverty’ as the top five issues of the NDA government. He went on to speak about PM Modi’s “silence on Manipur” and asked why there had been no all-party meeting to review the weeks-long violence unfolding in the state. “PM has all the time to visit Japan and Australia but he cannot visit Manipur. He hasn’t yet uttered a single word on the happenings there. He should have held all party meeting. The HM should have rushed there at the earliest,” the leader said.
