How Snapdeal has geared up for Unbox Diwali sale
All snapdeal fulfillment centres will work 24 into 7 and the deliveries too will start earlier at 8 am and will continue till 8 pm to cater to the increase in volumes.

Online retailer Snapdeal on Monday announced measures it has taken to ensure faster delivery of its products during the Unbox Diwali sale to be held from October 2-6.
"In the run up to Diwali, all pre-shipment checks on fast moving items like mobile phones, memory cards, power banks, personal care appliances, kitchen appliances, air conditioners, televisions, home theater systems, printers etc. has already been done, so that packets can be dispatched within minutes of the order being received. To ensure fast deliveries across the country, nearly 20,000 tonnes of cargo will move by air, for which bulk bookings have been done by Snapdeal's logistics partners," Snapdeal said in a release.
Snapdeal's Chief Customer Experience officer Jayant Sood said, "Snapdeal's fast deliveries have set new benchmarks for all players. From same day delivery within metros, to next day delivery to more than 100 cities, Snapdeal boxes will be on the move across the country, making the "Unbox" moment a special one for our users this festive season."

The 'Unbox Diwali Sale' will cater to buyers from more than 6000 cities and will cover nearly 30,000 pin codes, including distant locations like Leh, Port Blair and Lakshwadeep islands.
