Delhi connection
Travelling from Purvanchal to Delhi is set to get easier with a new direct option. Train 15095 Gorakhpur-Delhi Amrit Bharat Express will leave Gorakhpur every Thursday at 10:45 pm and reach Delhi via Sitapur at 12:50 pm the next day. (File photos)

Mumbai relief
Gorakhpur is also getting a new Amrit Bharat connection to Mumbai. Train 15085 will depart every Friday at 7:50 am and travel via Kanpur Central before reaching Bandra at 6 pm the following day, opening another option for long-distance travellers.

Fourteen hours
The new Amrit Bharat Express will cover the Gorakhpur-Delhi journey in around 14 hours and 5 minutes. Passengers boarding at 10:45 pm can reach the capital by early afternoon the next day, potentially making overnight travel far more convenient.

Weekly catch
There is one detail passengers cannot afford to miss: neither train will operate daily. The Delhi service leaves Gorakhpur on Thursdays, while the Bandra service departs on Fridays, making the day of travel crucial while planning a journey.

Return maths
The return schedules require some careful planning too. Train 15096 leaves Delhi at 2 pm every Friday and reaches Gorakhpur at 6:25 am the next day, while train 15086 departs Bandra on Saturday night and arrives in Gorakhpur on Monday morning.

The train numbers and timetable are out, and the Amrit Bharat rake has already reached Gorakhpur. But passengers still cannot plan their first journey just yet—the Railways is yet to announce the date from which the two new services will begin operating.
