Bollywood's most expensive way to travel: The private jets behind India's biggest stars

Bollywood's biggest names don't just live luxuriously on the ground. Several A-list stars own or use private jets worth hundreds of crores, travelling between shoots, international events and holidays in extraordinary style.

King Khan reportedly flies in a Gulfstream G550, one of the world's most prestigious ultra-long-range business jets. The aircraft is valued between ₹350 crore and ₹500 crore and can fly non-stop between Mumbai and New York without refuelling.

Big B owns a Bombardier Challenger 300 private jet — a 10-seater aircraft estimated to be worth between ₹260 crore and ₹350 crore. The Challenger 300 is a super-midsize jet popular with business executives and entertainers globally.

Priyanka Chopra reportedly shares a Hawker 800 six-seater private jet with her husband Nick Jonas. She uses the aircraft to travel between Los Angeles and India for her film projects, international brand work and personal trips.

Salman Khan reportedly uses a high-end private jet for holidays, global brand events, cross-country reality TV shoots and personal trips. Unlike some peers, he has not been reported to own his aircraft outright, instead using chartered private aviation.

Thanks to his royal lineage as the Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan reportedly had his own private aircraft custom-designed in 2010 to cater to family vacations and film promotions — one of the most personalised aircraft in Indian celebrity history.
