Hanuman Ansh shocks Mirzapur and Haiwaan on Sunday, but the worldwide totals reveal a much tighter contest

By the September 14 cutoff, Sacnilk-based reports placed Hanuman Ansh at ₹268.05 crore worldwide and Mirzapur: The Movie at ₹266.04 crore. Haiwaan stood at an estimated ₹11.55 crore worldwide after its opening weekend. On this metric, Hanuman Ansh led, but only narrowly over Mirzapur.

Sunday earnings: Hanuman Ansh led with ₹22.50 crore India net

On Sunday, September 13, the tracker estimated ₹22.50 crore India net for Hanuman Ansh, ₹13.25 crore for Mirzapur: The Movie and ₹1.85 crore for Haiwaan. This is the clearest evidence that Hanuman Ansh dominated that specific day, not proof that every lifetime comparison is equally one-sided.

Show counts moved sharply in Hanuman Ansh’s favour

Reported Sunday show counts were 8,902 for Hanuman Ansh, 7,225 for Mirzapur: The Movie and 4,374 for Haiwaan. Hanuman Ansh gained more than 3,000 shows for its sixth Sunday, while Haiwaan lost roughly 1,400 between Saturday and Sunday as exhibitors responded to audience demand.

Release age makes a straight lifetime comparison unfair

The three films were at very different points: Hanuman Ansh was on day 38, Mirzapur: The Movie on day 10 and Haiwaan on day 3. The honest conclusion is that Hanuman Ansh led the latest daily race, Mirzapur had nearly matched its worldwide gross much faster, and Haiwaan opened far behind both.
