The Varanasi-originating service runs six days a week, excluding Fridays. The New Delhi-originating service excludes Saturdays. The different rest days matter when planning the outward and return legs of a trip.

Published end-to-end fares are ₹1,915 for AC three-tier, ₹2,470 for AC two-tier and ₹3,030 for AC first class. Fares for intermediate journeys differ, so passengers need to select their actual boarding and destination stations when booking.

The official feature list includes CCTV, fire-barrier doors and special berths and toilets for passengers with disabilities. Regenerative braking and an aerodynamic design are also part of the sleeper train’s engineering package.
