Railway reporting says the 02024 Patna–Howrah and 02023 Howrah–Patna special pair was extended for Sundays from October 4 to December 13, 2026, nominally 11 trips in each direction. The route, stops, timings and coach composition were announced as unchanged.

The published timetable lists train 02024 leaving Patna Junction at 5:30 am and reaching Howrah at 1:25 pm, a scheduled journey of 7 hours 55 minutes over approximately 532 km. Passengers should verify the date-specific timetable through NTES before travel.

The return train 02023 is listed to depart Howrah at 2:15 pm and reach Patna Junction at 10:30 pm, taking 8 hours 15 minutes. This is a day service in both directions, with AC Chair Car and Second Sitting accommodation reported for the pair.
