Abhay Deol's new film Happy Bhag Jayegi saw an 'upward trend' in its collection in its opening weekend, with the film getting mixed reviews from critics.

The film also stars Diana Penty, who plays the role of runaway bride Happy.

After escaping from her home in Amritsar, Happy finds herself in Pakistan's Lahore where she meets Abhay Deol who plays the role of Bilal Ahmed, a politician's son.

The Box Office India website reported that the film has earned over Rs 10 crore in the first three days of its release.

 

Akshay Kumar's Rustom, meanwhile, has entered  Rs 100-crore club with the film continuing a rood run in its second weekend.

The film has made a total of Rs 106  crore, according to the Box Office India website.
