Akshay Kumar's Rustom continues good run at box office

Akshay Kumar starrer Rustom continued a strong performance at the box office on Thursday, with the film benefitting from the festival of Rakhi.

Akshay Kumar starrer Rustom continued a strong performance at the box office on Thursday, with the film benefitting from the festival of Rakhi.

As the film enters its second week on Friday, it faces two new releases Happy Bhag Jayegi and UnIndian.

Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, Rustom had earned Rs 82.28 crore until Wednesday, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh .

Meanwhile, the Box Office India website has reported that the court drama made approximately Rs 8 crore on Thursday, which was a holiday in some parts of the country due to Rakhi.

 

The film has also done well in the international market, according to Adarsh.

 

Rustom has topped the first week collection for an Akshay Kumar movie this year. Housefull 3 had collected Rs 80.2 crore and Airlift Rs 79.29 crore in their first week.
