Trade analyst Ramesh B tweeted about the worldwide success of the movie.
The movie is directed by Pa Ranjith and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.
It also features Winston Chao and Radhika Apte in lead roles. The movie was released on 22 July on 3200 screens in India.
