Indian shuttler PV Sindhu on Thursday stormed into the final of Badminton (Singles) in the Rio Olympics 2016.

Sindhu defeated Japan's Nozomi Okuhara in the semi final with 11 straight points. Her final score was 21-19, 21-10.

She confirmed her place in the finals in just 49 minutes. Sindhu will meet world no.1 Spain's Carolina Marin in the finals tomorrow. In her maiden Olympics, Sindhu has entered the final and has assured India of another medal after Sakshi Malik created history by winning bronze medal in wrestling yesterday.
