Apple's iPhone 7 launch event begins in San Francisco
In what is said to be one of the most anticipated tech events of the year, Apple's "See you there" will showcase the latest and greatest from the Cupertino tech giant.

The much-awaited Apple's iPhone 7 launch event has begun in San Francisco as fans wait for CEO Tim Cook to make major announcements.
This has been the most anticipated tech event of the year. Apple's"See you there" will showcase the latest and greatest from theCupertino tech giant. Undoubtedly, the iPhone 7 launch will take up thelimelight but considering the recent slump in smartphone sales, the company shouldhave a trick or two up its sleeve.
The American tech giant is likely to not only focus onthe iPhone but also on accessories and software.
Apple Watch:
It's been15 months since Apple launched its new product segment, which did fairly wellconsidering the niche market of wearable tech. With Apple's reputation of nailing the hardware ina second generation product, this year's Apple Watch has high expectations tofulfill. So far, the rumour mill has it that the Watch will get a softwareoverhaul along with a GPS chip for precise location based services. The deviceis also supposed to get a boost in processing power.
New software:
Along withthe much awaited hardware, Apple will be releasing the final version of iOS 10 which will berolled out to iPhone 5 and later versions. The beta version of the software waslaunched during the WWDC event earlier this year. The latest version will beavailable for download by tonight. It will power other platforms like iPad,tvOS 10, macOS Sierra and watchOS 3.
New Earphones:
Apple hadacquired Beats two years back and will probably come up with their first pairof Beats earphones in tomorrow's event. One of the most certain things in thelist of rumours regarding the iPhone 7 is that it will trade-in the 3.5mm audiojack for a USB Type-C port. With thisnew change, the company will look forward to selling wireless headsets orprovide a separate adapter for all old-school earphones.
iPhone 7 Pro:
In whatseems to be a bleak possibility, theiPhone 7 might come with a third variant this year. Last month, the websiteNowhereelse revealed pictures with three distinct iPhone 7 variants, two ofwhich looked like the usual iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus variants. The thirdshows two camera modules in the rear panel which is in line with many rumours.If these rumours are to be believed, the device might be named as the iPhone 7Pro.
