Emirati airline flydubai has temporarily suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv following a serious safety incident aboard one of its aircraft travelling from Dubai to Israel. The suspension has been imposed at the request of authorities and will remain in place until further notice as an official investigation continues, reported by Economic Times.
The incident involved Flight FZ1073, which was operating from Dubai to Tel Aviv on September 30. The aircraft was diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after a safety incident occurred in the flight deck. According to flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith, all 172 passengers and crew members on board were safe following the diversion.

The aircraft was forced to divert from its planned route after the incident unfolded in the cockpit. The plane eventually landed safely at Tabuk, where Saudi authorities responded to the situation and assisted passengers and crew.
The airline's captain required medical attention following the incident. Flydubai said he later received medical clearance and returned to the United Arab Emirates. The carrier has not disclosed additional details about the incident, citing the ongoing investigation.
The incident has prompted authorities to examine what happened aboard the Boeing aircraft and whether any security or operational protocols were breached.
