Dubai-based logistics giant DP World has bolstered its India operations by upgrading its rail terminal in Pali, Haryana. The addition of a third rail line is aimed at meeting rising freight demand across northern India. The upgrade boosts the Pali-Rewari terminal's monthly freight handling capacity by 25%, increasing from 192 to 240 trains, the company announced. As one of India’s largest rail freight operators, DP World runs seven strategically positioned rail and inland terminals linked to an extensive network of Indian rail hubs. The Pali terminal, connected to the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) via New Ateli station, serves as a vital hub for supply chains across Northern India.
