Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, shared with BTTV's Chetan Bhutani that Maharashtra's Vidarbha region is set to attract investments worth ₹6 lakh crore across various sectors. He highlighted Gadchiroli's potential to become a steel hub and the district with the highest revenue in the state, thanks to mining royalties. With 75% of Maharashtra's minerals and 80% of its forests, Vidarbha is poised to become India’s steel and logistics hub, backed by significant infrastructure upgrades, airport developments, and its strategic geographical location.
