Navigation products maker TomTom has launched fitness watches in the past that had a niche audience - people who are actively into fitness activities - and were not designed to compete against the number of fitness bands and smartwatches available in the market. But now the company has revamped its line-up with a range of good-looking, user-friendly and precise tracking wearables.
The Touch is a fitness tracker band that comes with body composition analysis. It measures the body fat and muscle mass percentage. The company claims that the fitness band passes a harmless current through the body that measures the same but is not recommended to be used by pregnant women or anyone with any kind of implant in the body. The TomTom Touch is priced at Rs 13,999.
TomTom Adventure has a dedicated outdoor sport mode. It is designed for measuring performance while doing activities such as running, biking, hiking, trail running and more. There is also a new feature - route exploration - that allows users to upload the map available from various websites and guide you when running on unexplored trails. In case the runner is lost, the trace on the watch allows to take the route back home. The unexplored track experience can be shared and you can even challenge friends. The Adventurer watch is priced at Rs 25,999.
The Spark 3 is the extension to the existing Spark series with Multisport mode and will be available in various versions. The Spark 3 range has got both the indoor mode and gym mode. All are GPS-enabled and can do real-time tracking. There is a variant with cardio with inbuilt hear rate monitor, one with music and another supporting cardio with inbuilt heart rate monitor with music. Route exploration has also been added to all the variants of the Spark 3. The Spark 3 starts at Rs 13,999 and goes up to Rs 25,999.
