Google is serious about the Indian market and we can say that with confidence because the company is launching a range of new products and services for its Indian consumer.

Last week, Google announced its new instant messaging app, Allo which did pretty well considering the saturated market it has been launched in. While Allo is already loaded with a few unique features like  machine-learning and the new Assistant, Google is trying to take it a step further towards a more personalised interface.

According to a report by The Verge, Google has released support for a second language, Hindi, in its new IM application. Through the support in Hindi, speakers of the fourth most popular language in the world will be able to interact more comfortably with the app which will also naturally result in better machine-learning.

Google has also released other India-centric services on its 18th birthday. The company has launched a new data-saving version of Google Chrome for better functionality over 2G and 3G networks.

Another pilot project, Google Station will be providing public Wi-Fi hotspots in various railway stations across the Indian subcontinent. Google announced that these projects will also be released in other countries after a few months.
