Biography

Sajjan Jindal, chairman of JSW Group, transformed a family steel business into a global conglomerate spanning steel, energy, cement, and infrastructure. Trained as an engineer, he pursued bold acquisitions and greenfield expansions. JSW Steel is now one of India’s largest, while JSW Energy and JSW Cement anchor diversification. Sajjan also founded JSW Sports, investing in Indian football, kabaddi, and cricket. His son Parth Jindal plays an active role in group strategy and philanthropy. Sajjan Jindal’s leadership blends ambition with responsibility, winning honors such as CEO of the Year, steel industry awards, and recognition for CSR initiatives in health and education.
