Green Energy To AI Labs: PM Modi Unveils Ambitious India–Oman Plan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the India–Oman Business Forum, called on businesses from both countries to set ambitious, future-oriented goals. He proposed launching five major green projects over the next five years, focusing on green hydrogen, green ammonia, solar manufacturing, energy storage and smart grids to strengthen energy security. PM Modi also highlighted food security as a growing global challenge and suggested creating an India–Oman agri-innovation hub to boost Oman’s food resilience and take Indian agritech global. Emphasising innovation, he proposed an Oman–India Innovation Bridge linking 200 startups, joint incubators, AI and cybersecurity labs, and increased cross-border venture funding, calling it an open invitation to invest, innovate and build the future together.
