PM Narendra Modi Hails The Role Of Indian Industry In Development At CII Session

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid out the path to ‘Viksit Bharat’ in front of some of India’s tallest industrial leaders. Assuring them that the government will help industry every step of the way, he said the private sector will play an important role in the journey to realising the dream of a developed India by 2047. Countering the opposition claims on the current government favouring big industrial houses, the Prime Minister said the wealth creators are the primary driving force behind India emerging as a global business player. The PM also cited the recent Niti Aayog meeting where he pushed for an investor-friendly charter by states, which would have clear policies and a good governance to attract businesses.
