Men are uncomplicated compared to women

Each month, we ask a beautiful woman about men, sex and relationships. This month, it’s Shamita Singha, supermodel, television anchor and brand ambassador for Diageo’s wine. She lives in Mumbai and she won’t say whether she’s dating at present.

Shamita Singha, 28

What do you like most about men?
I love that most men are uncomplicated compared to women. They can be pretty precise and sorted when they want to be. Being physically stronger and well-built makes them attractive.

What do you like least?

They don’t pay attention when a woman feels like talking for longer.

Which country has the hottest men?
Italy and Greece

Daniel Craig or Hugh Grant?
Hugh Grant

What’s a good approach for a girl like you?
Men have to be straight forward with me but I like a gentleman, some chivalry at the same time.

How should a girl approach a guy she likes at the office?
Ask him to have coffee with her or take coffee breaks together every now and again.

What should men have learnt about women by now?
That we love to talk and vent and don’t mean half the things we say in anger. And that there is nothing in the world for us that a little love and affection cannot take care of.

Where do you stand on pre-marital sex?
Sex is a natural progression of love. Marriage has nothing to do with it.

What constitutes a healthy sex life?
Do it ever so often to build your bond. It only gets better and better over time but, of course, play safe. When is an affair permissible? When there is a mutual need to be with each other.
