Pursuit of passion

A life-changing move would mean that you are attempting to find a new mission; a pursuit of your passion.

A life-changing move would mean that you are attempting to find a new mission; a pursuit of your passion. One involves food for the stomach and the other a quest of food for the soul.

In the course of our careers, a lot of us pursue the food for soul outside our work premises. There are a few truly blessed ones who combine the two.

Sachin Tendulkar is a classic case in example; someone who has found his calling playing cricket. Even in normal work places, I have witnessed professionals who love what they do and some that over time have converted work into a passion that drives them.

When you reach a point of time in your career journey where what you do is just for a living, to see the path you want, search within and see what's holding you back.

You could use someone who knows you well, and could be a mentor, as a mirror to reflect your way forward. You might then decide to pursue your passion, and find that while money did not make you truly happy, happiness might find you true money.
