Great Gadgets
The cover story "Tech for 2014" was informative. Antique is gold sometimes and that applies to technology too. I find CRT TV picture quality best -even better than the latest LED TVs. The older gadgets lasted much longer than the new ones do. Also, with the new ones, repairs are often just not possible. We have just to throw them away if they do not work. The old radio had its own charm, as did the gramaphones of yore. Mahesh Kapasi, New Delhi
