Every new transaction, be it income or expenses, can be added with details like category, note, date and amount. There is an option to repeat details that can be turned on by upgrading to the Pro version. You can edit categories and even add an icon or colour to it. While the calculations are displayed on the home page of the app, rotating the phone to a horizontal format shows the expenses in a chart format.
>> Day One by Bloom BuiltSometime in our life, we all tried keeping a daily diary to recall our memorable moments. The Day One app will take you back to your old days and help you create a journal for everything you feel like. You can create a new entry by hitting the '+' on the screen. You can type your thoughts and even add location, weather, an image or add tags to the entry. Once saved it appears on the timeline. This can be edited later as well.

Finally, an app that lets you create stunning timelapse videos. Once you have perched your iPhone in a static position, this app can click pics at regular intervals of as low as 2 seconds. The video is made in 360p or 480p in the free app. The Pro version supports HD and Full HD video. Other settings let you lock focus in case there are moving subjects. The app can shoot time lapse with both front and rear cameras.

A must-have application for Shopaholics, Delight Circle's core idea is to update users about the best shopping deals in your vicinity. You need to register or log in with Facebook to start your shopping spree. There is an icon on top for searching deals, while there is tabbed browsing for various sections. The app even lists the date till when the offer is valid. There is also an option of adding your shopping card/membership card of various retail outlets. Users earns Delight Points which can later be used to redeem rewards.
THE KINDLE QUARTET>> Atari Greatest Hits by AtariThis one if for the old timers who used to have no option but to play Atari, at home or at video game parlours. Some of these games are still classics and worth their mettle. You will also see how they have influenced the games of today. There is also a pro version of this app that is paid, but this is good enough for a nostalgia rush. You will miss joysticks though.
>> Techno Trancer by GIGA-RENSYA IncThis is another game that will remind you of the 1980s. The objective is to take your space ship through a deluge of explosives and enemy aircraft. If that sounds easy it is anything but. This fast-paced game even comes with a 60-second version. Tell us if you go beyond the third phase.
>> Astrid Tasks by Todoro IncFor those of you who need to make lists for everything from watching movies over the weekend to shopping for groceries, Astrid is the best solution. It lets you create lists, set alerts for the same and share them with friends and family if you require help. While we used this on the Kindle HD Fire, you can have the app on iOS, Android and even the web, thus making sure that the list is there wherever you are and on any device.
>> MyLifeOrganized by Andriy TkachukThis is a great productivity app that does much more than create a to-do-list. It lets you create tasks and covert them into projects so that you can keep tab of their progress. So you have a goal section where you can see goals for the week or month and take suitable actions on them. But the Kindle interface is a waste of real estate. Then a lot of the good features are available on the $9.99 pro version.
>> Let's Learn How To Draw by Todoro IncThis is a great app that teaches kids the basics of drawing, this app has step-by-step tutorials for dogs, trains and monster. More sections would have been welcome, but we will have to wait for that. The app also lets kids colours the drawings in the sections above and save them. Good fun.
