SWYPE Beta
Android OS
For those who were not comfortable typing on the QWERTY keypad on their touch phones, the Swype keypad offered some relief. While it worked smoothly with English, it was a complete disaster while typing Hindi words in English. The brains behind the company have resolved this problem by adding support for 'Hinglish' along with many other languages. Once you download the app to your Android phones from beta.swype.com, go to languages in settings and download the languages you wish to add. We selected Hinglish as the default setting and surprisingly, we were able to type anything that came to our mind-"Aaj baarish ho rahi hai. Hum ghar pe hi hain". Interestingly, the app learns as we type. Looking at the most common terms that we used in the past, it even predicts what could be coming. The beta app might not work on all phones now.
