WHY INVEST IN IT?Religare Invesco Mid & Small Cap invests in mid-cap and small-cap stocks from CNX Midcap and BSE Smallcap indices, respectively. It invests 65-95% in mid-cap stocks and 5-35% in small-cap stocks. Stocks are selected from a Religare universe of 286 stocks, which is then filtered to a portfolio of about 50 stocks. It is diversified and a consistent performer compared with its benchmark, doing well in both bull and bear phases. Stocks are bought and held, with a low turnover ratio (J&K bank and Britannia have remained in the portfolio for over 3 years). Consistent performance makes it a good longterm investment, despite mid-cap and small-cap investments.
