1. Road projects

Four-laning of Mumbai-Nashik highway and ring road connecting Mumbai-Agra road to Trimbakeshwar will improve connectivity and decongest traffic within the city.

2. Auto hub

With many auto companies already having manufacturing facilities in the city, there is a proposal to develop a 200-hectare industrial zone called automobile hub.

3. Central funds

The city will receive Rs 750 crore of funds from the Central Government in the first phase for the improvement of roads, transport system and water supply.
