Your cover story on online money making opportunities (World Wide Wealth, 17 May) was more theoretical with very few practical steps. Please publish a sequel to the above story in less technical terms outlining simpler and more feasible methods. I would also like to point out that there is a difference in the returns given in your Mutual Fund Monitor dated 9 August and similar data in another magazine. Even if the gap of 19 days is considered, there cannot be such deviation. Please clarify.

We source data for Mutual Fund Monitor from Value Research. The figures have been checked and are correct. We wouldn’t like to comment on any other publication.
The portfolio tracking story (How’s Your Money Doing? 26 July) was an eye-opener for me. I have quite a few investments but am not very computer-savvy. Encouraged by your article, I hesitantly registered in one of the portals. It has been a rewarding experience. The tracker is user-friendly even for a novice like me.
