DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION
DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION FOR XBOX 360 (Price: Rs 2,499)

The wait is finally over and in comes a copy of Deus Ex: Human Revolution for the Xbox 360 to our review centre. This game is the prequel to the hot selling Deus Ex. The stage is set in Detroit where Adam Jensen works as the security chief of Sarif Industries, a powerful organisation that is engaged in changing human life form into something more powerful. An attack on Sarif Industries leaves Adam injured and gasping for life. He undergoes surgeries and is fused with mechanical augmentations.

BAG IT OR JUNK IT? This Deus Ex title is a must-play.
Now half human and half cyborg, he is on a quest to find who was behind the attacks. The story starts slow but is quite engaging after a few levels. The game is not just an RPG or an action game but a combination of both. You can sneak your way through the game and stealthily kill all the foes or go all out with guns blazing. There are a few graphic and physics bugs that need to be ironed out but nothing too serious to put you off your path.

The graphics are excellent especially, for the Xbox 360 platform. The sound plays an important role, though you do hear repetitive dialogues from people around you when you interact with them. This can get on your nerves at times. Boss fights are exceptional and are pretty combative. Remember to get the right upgrades else these fights will just get tougher. There are a lot of doors, ceilings and walls to break down in the game. These get you special rewards and weapons. You can hack computers, talk to other security members on your way to your next move. We won't reveal any more otherwise it will just take the fun away from the game. All we can say is do play and find out.
