She also mentioned that the celebrations featured a grand Catrina installation at Carter Road, paying homage to love, memory and legacy. She added that Mumbai’s Mukesh Mills transformed into a stunning tribute with marigolds, candles, a traditional ofrenda by Mexican artist Lourdes Villagómez, global music acts and crafted drink experiences. Jaitly said the celebrations aim to strengthen cultural connections and honour life and remembrance while inviting people in India to experience Mexico’s rich heritage.
