Grand Rituals, Tight Security As Ram Mandir Celebrates 2nd Pran Pratishtha Anniversary

Rituals have begun at the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya as the sacred town marks the second anniversary of Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha. The Ram Mandir is celebrating Pran Pratishtha Dwadashi with special religious ceremonies and elaborate rituals, drawing massive crowds of devotees. While the main programmes are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, the celebrations will continue till Friday. According to PTI, rituals have been underway since Saturday. Officials estimate that between five and six lakh devotees are expected to visit Ayodhya for Ram Lalla’s darshan during the celebrations. In view of the heavy rush, issuance of VIP passes has been suspended till Thursday, and darshan and puja are being allowed only through the main entrance of the temple. Security and traffic arrangements across Ayodhya have been significantly tightened. Vehicle entry into the city has been restricted, with 36 designated parking zones created on the outskirts. Holding areas have been set up to regulate crowds and ensure darshan in a phased manner. The city has been divided into five zones and ten security sectors, with heightened deployment of police, PAC and paramilitary forces. Anti-drone systems have also been activated, and all activities are being monitored from a central control room amid a high alert.
