
The discovery of a massive deposit of lithium near the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu has strengthened India’s position against China in the battle for battery space. The 5.9-million-tonne deposit is one of the biggest in the world and is crucial to ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ plans of the central government.
